I am an associate professor in translational neuroimaging working at the intersection of brain imaging, statistics, open science and clinical applications. My work focuses on developing robust, reproducible analysis methods for MRI, PET and EEG data, and applying them to patient populations. I contribute to community-wide standards such as BIDS, and created PublicnEUro.eu.

Current Position

2021 – presentSenior Research Software Developer Neurobiology Research Unit, Copenhagen University Hospital Rigshospitalet, Denmark

Research software engineering for neuroimaging pipelines; leading open-science projects including OpenNeuroPET (international PET imaging collaboration) and PublicnEUro (EU platform for neuroimaging data sharing).

Employment

2015 – 2020Senior Academic Fellow & Functional Imaging Scientific Leader Edinburgh Imaging, University of Edinburgh, UK Dual role: scientific management (~40%) covering data management, study protocols, and hardware/software oversight across three MRI scanners; research and teaching in brain imaging for health and disease.

2010 – 2020Academic Fellow & fMRI Scientific Leader Brain Research Imaging Centre (BRIC), University of Edinburgh, UK

2007 – 2010fMRI Lead for SINAPSE & MRI Manager Brain Research Imaging Centre, University of Edinburgh, UK Scottish Imaging Network: A Platform for Scientific Excellence (SINAPSE).

2006 – 2007Post-doctoral Research Assistant Department of Psychology (Prof. Pascal Belin), University of Glasgow, UK
