Skills

Project Management

- Leadership: I have experience in leading research related projects, for instance OpenNeuroPET as an international collaboration for PET imaging and PublicnEUro a new EU platform for data sharing)

- Innovation, creation and realization: As a researcher, innovation is at the core of ones activity. Creating tools is one of my strong skill, for instance LIMO MEEG toolbox for MEEG analyses and SPM up for fMRI analyses

- Communication: experience in listening to user needs, translate to the team, and also communicate our own results and analyses

- Decision-making: I have experience in making decision for given studies and analytical choices though my research experience, but also in accepting, delivering, or stopping studies through scientific management of studies and equipment – along with executive decision regarding tendering and buying equipment.

- Delegation: I supervised the delivery of functional imaging studies by an assistant and by the radiographer teams on 3 MRI scanners delegating various tasks. Similarly, I supervised students (Master, PhD) and post-doc to deliver various scientific projects.

- Problem-solving: I have experience in solving technical (e.g. hardware issues), analytical (study design, data analysis) and managerial (supervision issues, staff issues) problems.

Data Management

- Electronic data capture (EDC): (i) co-design of a tablet app to collect and transfer, through the university cloud, of healthy participants health and cognitive data for databasing purposes (ii) human neuroimaging (MRI-EEG) data collection and transfer.

- Anonymization and pseudo-anonymization: procedures and tools to provide users pseudo-anonymized data while retaining securely pseudo-identifier keys.

- Data basing organization: data scientist advisor for BRAINS (Brain Images of Normal Subjects), ENBIT (European Network for Brain Imaging of Tumours) and data share; working knowledge of mySQL and datalad (git annex based).

- Data curation: co-leader of the Brain Imaging Data Structure developing international standard ; and experienced data curator using BIDS.

- Data sharing: experienced user of various platforms (Open Science Framework, FigShare, data share, Zenodo), hosting and management of ENBIT (European Network for Brain Imaging of Tumours).

- Data policies: GDPR training, workshop organizer on data sharing policies, open brain consent co-lead for GDPR.

Clinical Neuropsychology

- Neuropsychology: Patient assessment using standardized tests.

- Clinical functional MRI Protocol implementation, testing, data analysis and clinical reporting.

Data Analysis

- Digital signal processing: time series analysis (filtering, biophysical artifact identification, data transforms, e.g. Fourier, Laplace, Hilbert) and image processing.

- Data mining and feature extraction procedures and tools to read files and extract data

- Statistical Modelling : outlier handling, hierarchical linear modelling, robust estimation.

- Machine learning : supervised method like SVM, LASSO, random forest.

Digital Skills

- Programming: Expert in Matlab, working knowledge of Python and R.

- Version Control: proficient user of Git and collaborative tools for documentation (e.g. Markdown) and code (GitLab, GitHub)

- Web: working knowledge of HTML, CSS.

- communication and graphic tools : MS suite, Google tools, Photoshop, Inkscape.
